La belle dame sans merci

Slow progress towards further household sorting out today and our first picture hung on the wall of our new room (title above). Ann bought this one many years ago (her first art purchase) and it's been in the attic for quite a few years. It needed a good clean and the sealing tape replaced. We thought the artist/ printmaker might have achieved some success in the intervening years but it would appear not.

A lunchtime interlude pouring over local historical maps with Merv to check out some of the history linked to Stainborough Castle & grounds. Then finally our new single bed arrived late afternoon. We are making progress - it's just slowed down in the last few weeks!
