A favourite view

Went in search of a better seascape for the weekly challenge and didn't have much luck.  The light wasn't great but I decided on this view from Burgoyne Bay across Sansum Narrows to Maple Bay on Vancouver Island.   Despite the lack of the shot I was hoping for, I had a lovely morning wandering in Ruckle Park and down Burgoyne.  For the first time, I took my tripod along.  I really need to use it more often. 
A change in the weather, cooler and rain on the way. 
Our older granddaughter arrived home from college yesterday.  It's great to have her back in BC!   A long drive for her and her boyfriend, about 12 hours on the road.  We did those long drives so many times when we lived up north, far away from our parents who didn't live anywhere near each other.   Not as easy to sit that long in the car as it was back then.  :)
