Shoot a Rainbow: BLUE

Blue will be easy, I thought! I can take a shot of some lovely blossom against the bright blue sky. How wrong was I? Today, after a week of glorious sunshine, is dull, grey and windy. The best laid plans of mice and men eh?
So, instead, here is a photograph of my painting, entitled 'Boys in Blue' painted by my artist friend, Stevyn Colgan. Steve worked for 30 years in the Metropolitan Police. The collar number '227' was his number when he joined and also, coincidentally, when he retired 30 years later.
