FUNNY MAN

Stan Laurel lived in Dockwray Square for 4 years. His Father was Manager of a Theatre close by. The extra photo is Theatre  Place which I am sure was built where the Theatre once stood.
Dockwray Square is across the road from the River Tyne.
The other extra shows the two ferry boats passing each other from South to North Shields and vice versa.The Scandinavian ferry is in the background.Hard to believe its a week ago since I was there meeting my friends.
Oliver Hardy also gets a mention on the Statue.
