Historic Cottage at Arrow Junction

A morning walk took my daughter & I past this fascinating old stone cottage at Arrow Junction. It must have been really cold to live in, as the north facing wall was solid, with no windows, and the only door and window faced south! Can you imagine how cold it would have been in the winter, with snow lying around, and no sun coming into the wee cottage? Brrrr!
