Abstract Thursday - Roof

Our daughter and granddaughter came to visit mid morning so (as ever) we went out for coffee, which then also turned into lunch, a shopping trip and afternoon tea!

We didn't get home until nearly five, at which point it was decided that granddaughter should stay overnight to save me having to travel down to babysit on on Friday! So our daughter and myself had another trip out buy some emergency overnight supplies for baby - like pyjamas and a toothbrush and some food!

By the time we got baby fed, bathed and off to bed it was gone 8 and so we didn't get our tea until nearly 9 p.m.!

So once again a back blip and no time to comment. Gonna be busy all day Friday too!

Shot is of part of the roof structure at Monk's Cross in York. I like the patterns and shape of the 'fins' and  the wonky view through the glass bit to the little tower above. Sadly I didn't check before and there is a theme for the Abstract Thursday this week (Tricolour) - and this doesn't really fit!

Also included and extra of a birthday tribute for the queen chalked on the pavement outside Hobbycraft! That has three colours in it!
