Bloodroot
Sanguinaria canadensis Flora Plena! A plant we have tried to grow on a number of occasions - and failed miserably. THis flower comes to you courtesy of my brother who has provided yet another plant for us to try. WE have no luck 6 miles down the road he can't (as they say in Cumbria) knock it back.
We only have the flowers as we have just been given this plant. I will (if it survives) blip it next year! As the name suggests it comes from Canada/north America but this form is double (Flora Plena).
Planning and packing are on course for a very early start on Saturday down to Great Haywood and off for a couple of weeks on the narrow boat. I can't wait!
