Limbo

What a day...Mom had an MRI & more tests...then at 1 a bed became available in the specialist hospital, but 7 hours later Mom was still waiting to be collected by an ambulance & taken! Despite being told she'd leave by 1,30! As a result the nurses didn't bother giving her the meds she needed! Can you believe?!!
The infection has penetrated the bone round the brain, there are talks about surgery... It feels like it's all escalating again - please pray for more miracles for Mom.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Mom finally being in the right place & with trained specialists looking after her.
2) My sister being amazing & calling the new hospital to get them to put pressure on & get Mom to them faster.
3) Seeing Mom's initial ITU consultant who came to chat to us on his way home. Felt touched by his care, right down to the detail of remembering names etc... Praying Mom has more people like him involved in her case from now on...

Sorry for the repeated blip, taken quickly outside her new hospital as Dad & I waited for the ambulance to arrive.
