Bright Border

Another beautiful day. I received a lovely surprise in the post from eldest son Stephen. It was a copy of The Grasmere Journals by Dorothy Wordsworth. I will look forward to reading it.

This afternoon it was a bike ride. The recent good weather has really brought the hedgerows on. Not only are the bluebells appearing but I spotted my first cowslips of the year. I often wonder what people think as I suddenly jump off my bike rummaging for my camera!

This was the case in Middleton when I spotted this colourful border.
