Wind on the dunes

These are the famous dunes of Maspalomas in Gran Canaria.
The winds produce interesting patterns on the surface, so I thought this would be a suitable entry for 'Abstract Thursday'.

Thanks to youoregon for hosting the  Abstract Thursday challenge.
I notice the theme this week is 'tricolor' so I will go for golden, white and blue! 
I think the blipfoto site could do with a page where it is easy to determine which challenges are happening, when, their hosts, and the theme as it seems to be akin to 'word of mouth' to keep up with this.....
