Exceeding Expectations

Today did on many levels.
Fairweathergirl worked her magic again and it was as good a day as you could hope to get in the Lakes, whatever the date. I can't think of another April day where factor 50 has been necessary!

I've said many times that the best part of my job is the look on a clients face when they see 'my office' and when it all goes well. But this week has been special for A as it marks a much anticipated, sometimes doubted, but truly well earned return to walking in the hills. To stand atop Bow Fell (902m, 800m of ascent) five and a bit months after major spinal surgery is testament to determimation and desire, qualities that it was a pleasure to see put into action. The view was astounding (if you don't already, pop over to her journal and take a look), but the grin was priceless.
