Glasgow

To Glasgow for the day - to source shoes and bag for the forthcoming wedding of Santana's daughter - and to meet an ex work colleague for coffee.

I failed at shopping - I obviously need to practice more.  I found it difficult to consider anything that wasn't waterproof or fleece-like.  Another day.

JB was in good form and is enjoying retirement too.

Good train journeys both ways and glorious weather which made  the Glaswegians even more perky than normal.  Great city.

On a very sad note I hear that Victoria Wood has died.  Such a pity.  She was much loved.
