A View From The Landing

I spent ten minutes in a derelict house near Ballymaconnell Beach in Bangor, this evening. Creepier than I imagined, with various types of wildlife involved, mostly feathered, but also dangerous as most of the copper piping and wiring had been removed, and not in a professional way. I like how the ceiling and walls surround the window in my main shot, much like the elements of a camera shutter. I find myself wondering how many times the people who had lived in this house over the years had glanced out that window into Belfast Lough on their way downstairs for breakfast.
The "extra" shot is taken from the rear bedroom pointing in the same direction.
