Aros yn yr heulwen

Aethon ni i Brifysgol Warwick heddiw. Doedd e ddim yn teimlo fel gwaith, pan ro'n ni'n eistedd ar fainc yn yr heulwen yn aros am y car.  Ro'n ni'n mynd i weld darn o feddalwedd sy'n defnyddion yn Warwick i reoli bwrsariaethau i fyfyrwyr.  Roedd y daith eithaf hir, bron tair awr, a siaradon ni am y Brifysgol a meddalwedd. Darllenais i farddoniaeth (RS Thomas eto), neu edrychais i fas y ffenest ar y cefn gwlad. Mae Lloegr yn wlad, gwyrdd a dymunol. Roedd y bobl yn Warwick croesawgar iawn. Ro'n nhw'n hael gyda'u hamser - yn dangos i ni'r meddalwedd, a rhoion nhw cinio i ni hefyd.  Ro'n ni'n meddwl bod y meddalwedd yn dda, felly dyn ni'n gobeithio bydd ein Prifysgol yn defnyddio hi. Baswn i ddechrau'r yfory yn eistedd ar fainc yn yr heulwen, ond do'n i ddim yn meddwl y bydd e'n bosibl.



We went to Warwick University today. It did not feel like work, when we were sitting on a bench in the sunshine waiting for the car. We were going to see a piece of software that Warwick used to manage student bursaries. The journey was quite long, nearly three hours, and we talked about the University and software. I read poetry (RS Thomas again), or looked out of the window at the countryside. England is green and pleasant country. The people at Warwick were very welcoming. They were generous with their time - they showed us the software, and they also gave us lunch. We thought that the software was good, so we hope that our University will use it. I'd like to start tomorrow sitting on a bench in the sunshine, but I did not think that it will be possible.
