Wide angle Wednesday 24

Today is the second week of the return of this challenge.  Again I was short of time - nothing new there- but managed to find a moment to get out the wide angle lens and take it  at least as far as the back garden.

Those who've been kind enough to follow my journal will know that renovations to our dining room and patio have taken an extraordinary amount of time to complete  ( commenced 4 January) but are finally reaching the end.

The patio work requires just another day to clean up and then we're done.  In the meantime, Peggy Sue was kind enough to give a tour of inspection  and is seen here giving her seal of approval to the bit round the corner that will be the BBQ area when we actually get the BBQ back in place.  This shot also shows that we had wonderful blue skies today, although there was a distinct chill in the air still.

In other news: we were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of  Victoria Wood.    She was a comedy genius and her passing is a great loss.
