Green Park lake.....

....on a beautiful but chilly spring afternoon today!

We had a meal booked at Roux in Parliament Square ( which turned out to be an evening of incredibly fine dining, as promised and expected at such a venue) but allowed ourselves time for a wander beforehand on such a sunny day. I did wonder if there might be flags in The Mall in readiness for The Queen's birthday on Thursday, but nothing up yet; just preparation for Sunday's London Marathon. (An extra of Buckingham Palace with flag flying. In shade sadly.)

Green Park was full of visitors, birds and squirrels, all making the most of the sunshine. This view from the bridge across the lake looking towards Admiralty Arch and the including London Eye was beautiful.

We managed good connections after our amazing meal and were home within the hour!
