Schools out!

So, the holidays have begun.

It hasn't all sunk in yet as it never seems to do but I'm enjoying the feeling all the same.

Feels even better to be off on a Friday for some reason.

Good End of Year show yesterday - I think our house can be reasonably proud of itself.

A few goodbye drinks after work and home in time to see the combined genius of Wiggins, Froome and Team Sky.

Tent poles to repair today and a house to pack. Until we are in the new house I will be nervous about the whole process.

Anyway, here's the lower half of my summer outfit which shall be combined with shorts and a t shirt for the next six weeks.

I just need to make sure I don't waste a moment of it.

I have deliberately put this image through snapseed in defiance of the Guardian article of this morning, the jist of which, was that photos processed via apps were somehow a lesser thing. Surely a good image is a good image (and I don't claim this to be one!) regardless of how it was formed? I'm sure the whole range of views on this matter can be found right here on blipfoto!

Given time I'd rather do it all through Lightroom but time is not always something I have in abundance....
