Not Paris

This is the footbridge over the River Tummel in Pitlochry. Here the romantically inclined clip padlocks to the ironwork and throw the key into the water to symbolise the enduring quality of their affections.

They range from the ordinary brass, shed-door type, inscribed with marker pen to fancy coloured, heart-shaped, ribbon bedecked, engraved models. Each to his or her own,I suppose?
