Wash & Goodbye

After 36 days on the road, it was time to give back my temporary home and vehicle. I cleared out the campervan and then took it to the car wash and scrubbed it for about an hour. It was harder than I thought it would be!

The van's odometer said I'd done 4,809km / 2,988 miles,  but I know that the speedometer (and I assume the odometer) is out by about 15%, so I probably did roughly 4,000km / 2,500 miles. That's not actually much at all for 36 days, but I was going at a very leisurely pace.

I returned the van to my friend Paul and had a beer with him, then in the evening I went to the park with my cousin Max and his friend Jasper to fly their new drones. So much fun!
