Gironde

Headed out and about around the countryside, lots of places having markets and other Bastille-day type activities going on.

Lovely walk around the port at Mortagne Sur Gironde (where the car-boot type fair included some broken and twisted mannequins that were, unsurprisingly, failing to find buyers) and then up to Meschers for a little bit of beach time, curtailed by rain and finely-whipped estuary sand blowing everywhere.

Music, hmm, mannequins...mannequins...
