Possibly sacrilegious but due to booking clashes my historical swordsman society ended up fencing in front of the altar tonight.

Here we see some bolognese style sidesword sparring circa the late 16th century.

Lots of fun, very interesting historically and great exercise. I wouldn't spend my Tuesday evenings any other way. Except tonight I took a cut on the hand. Ouch!
