Castlefield

I have had an evening meeting at Manchester Town Hall.

I had time beforehand for a bit of a walk, enjoying the sunshine. I love clear, and almost warm, spring evenings like this. The light really brings the colours out.

What  a contrast to yesterday's grey, cold and overcast conditions. What will tomorrow bring - it is that time of year when you can feel over or underdressed, depending on which way the wind blows.

I have added tow extras - St John's Gardens, one of the few green oases in the city centre. And the concrete cores of the new office development going up on the edge of Spinningfields. It is going to have a fancy restaurant on the top floor, which should be quite something.
