Willow
“Textile designer Rhiannon Southwell often finds inspiration in vintage ceramics. Her Shaun puts a baa-rilliant Bristol twist on the traditional 18th century Willow pattern by featuring the city’s iconic hot air balloons and the Clifton Suspension Bridge.” www.shauninthecity.org.uk
On the way to the library this morning, I passed Willow standing outside a local gym, one of the 70 Shaun the Sheep sculptures that were dotted around Bristol last Summer, the sale of which raised over £1 million for charity.
(For more Shaun photos, and info behind last Summer’s Shaun the Sheep Trail, follow the links here and here to my blips from last August.)
In other news, I finally managed to coax Toffee through the new cat flap! Mind you, I was holding the flap up for her and the back door was half open so she didn’t have to negotiate the drop from the cat flap to the step below. She refused point blank to go back in, but at least we’ve made some progress. That’s the power of Dreamies!!
