VIEW FROM THE KRUKENBURG

The morning spend in the garden, again.
After lunch I suggested to walk to the Krukenburg, descend from there to Helmarshausen and walk along the Diemel back.
Certainly a good idea, because a) it is not far, b) it is varied and c) perhaps there is no c.
Piet Hein agreed, but found it even a better idea, when we drove to the Diemelhöhe, walk from there to the Krukenburg and on our way back, would cross the Diemel, fetch the car and drive home. And thus we did,
At the Krukenburg we found the sheep in a large field (see the extra if you like), admired the views all around us and descended the romantic path down to Helmarshausen. Along the path there are abandoned gardenhouses. Clearly no one wants to climb that high for a garden that is on a steep slope, and difficult to cultivate,
At Helmarshausen we crossed the Diemel and walked the lower path, which is a nicer one, when it is dry.
A pleasant walk our afternoon walk, and only when we neared the car, it seemed that there could fall a drop of rain.
The weather today had not been really good, but good enough.
