Neptune

Oh I am sooooo excited about seeing the seal - Neptune on the way home. I have been wanting to see one of the often sighted seals in the River Nene for years and today I did!  It was basking on one of the boating platforms and had a small group of people gathered around it. It was quite friendly and totally at ease and enjoying having its picture taken. The local park trust had been contacted and they in turn, had phoned the RSPCA who were on their way. A chap I was talking to was going to wait til they got there just to make sure no one hurt it.

Oh I am so happy - not what I was expecting to see on the way home at all. I think judging by his face Neptune is in the extra too!
