Through all the rain & cloud, the sun still managed to break out & shine a little.
Walking into town in my lunch, I passed the Manchester Ship Canal at Castlefield.

The ferociously bright flowers almost screamed out at me. I love their contrast against the industrial background of the waterway & rail- line. It's kind of almost nature is trying to reclaim & beautify what was taken away from it perhaps a century ago.
