Over the wall

Over the wall the blackthorn has burst into flower. Later in the year there will be sloes, but we won't be able to reach enough to make sloe gin. On our side of the wall the Clematis Montana buds are fat and it will be flowering soon. There is one lone flower out and I did take its picture, but it is a bit misshapen and not good enough for a blip. On top of the wall is a lovely layer of moss, shining in the sunlight.
It has been a beautiful day and I pottered in the garden, just the areas I could reach without bending too much.
