Palmyra

A friend who I was with in Palmyra 20 years ago this week told me they had erected a replica arch in Trafalgar Square. It has been put there to draw attention to World Heritage sites and the damage done to some of them in Syria by Isis. Stopped off to see it on the way to visit my daughter
