Le Jaonnet bay

An early morning blip today. I cycled to the south coast cliffs catching a lovely sunrise from Castel hill. It would have made a good photo, but having gone for a long ride I thought I'd better use a blip from my final destination. I reached Icart point and abandoned my bike for a walk along the cliff and then down steps and finally a ladder to reach Le Jaonnet, a rocky cove. It was high tide and I had to scramble across some rocks to get a few pictures. On my way back I slipped into a rockpool and was totally immersed by an incoming wave ! Fortunately my camera was zipped up in its bag and seems to have survived the trauma. I'm still waiting to see if my phone can be resuscitated. So then it was a dripping hike back up the cliff, a long soggy downhill ride home and a nice cup of tea ;-)
