Rundetaarn

After we'd checked in at our hotel we got the train into town from nearby Osterport and walked down from Norreport Station to the canal at Nyhavn, via the Round Tower that Christian IV had built to house his Observatory. The wide, cobbled slope that runs around the tower to the top was apparently designed so that he could ride his horse up. We just walked. Afterwards we took the Harbour Bus up to Kastellet and made the obligatory trek along to see the statue of the Little Mermaid. The nice lady at the Airport Information desk had already warned us that she wasn't very big...
