Cape Byron

We have had an amazing day, visiting the easternmost point of Australia today at Byron Bay. We walked from Clarkes beach along a very steep track and ended up at the lighthouse at Cape Byron and then at the point where the sun first rises in the morning. There were some amazing views along the way and I took plenty of photos. We even saw dolphins playing in the waves far below where we were standing.
The photo I chose first today (and it was quite a choice) was of a storm out to sea. It was amazing to see the whole storm system from one side to the other. We were standing on the path very close to the lighthouse looking directly East.
But then we went for a walk on the beach in the afternoon and ended up waiting for the sun to set. It was magical!! Just a perfect day!!!
