Down by the riverside at Earnscleugh

Another cloudless day in rugged Central Otago (Alexandra and Clyde) where we cruised the lanes seeking autumn colour and strolled the streets of Clyde seeking beautiful yarns and buttons and pure wool garments before lunching on scallops at The Old Post Office Hotel. Then another climb in the car up to 1000 feet to be rewarded by an amazing panorama of the CLutha River and distant views of both Clyde below us and Alexandra in the haze 10km away. Dr D then walked a distance along a riverside cycle track reconnoitering possibilities for his new e-bike.
