Plodging in the run off

wow  historic flooding in H-town today , was woke by thunder at 4am, just as well as the water table was so high  it had started coming through the tiles downstairs.
anyway managed to get it under control, so no major worries for us. Kids got a day off school and we had fun after the clean up playing games and splashing in the puddles.
fingers crossed that rain forecast for tonight is not very much as the bayous are busting there banks,
