Mystery man

It's been awhile since I blipped a mystery man, so I couldn't resist when I saw this one checking the equipment at the playground.   I talked with him briefly on my way past, and we commented on what a lovely ground cover the tiny daisies are.  He said he feels badly when he has to mow them.  I do too.
I saw one of our neighbours (in extra) on the road ahead, so I caught up with him and had a good talk about gardening.  He and his wife have an amazing garden.   I worked for a couple of hours in ours and it's starting to look good.  We're so lucky to be able to grow some of our own food.  We have an appointment in Duncan tomorrow, so I plan pick up some basket stuffers and get the hanging baskets ready.  It's always lovely to have some colourful flowers in the garden.
Yesterday G found a dead little Rufous hummer and I added an extra of it.   Poor wee thing.  They're such beautiful birds.  Plenty of the Rufous and Anna's around now, dive-bombing each other at the feeders.
