Gledstanes

This is one of my favourite spots when I'm running my Switch to Manual Workshops. This red kite or a Gled as it is known in Scots would be found nesting amongst the 'stanes' or Stones. The building has now been anglicised to Gladstone's Land and the gilded bird sits above the door.
