Trying to love yellow

I'm not the biggest fan of yellow flowers, I'll admit it. I don't know if it's the way we get bombarded with daffs and forsythia at the start of Spring, but it's too much cheerfulness too soon (it takes me a bit to warm up after the winter).

That said, there's something a bit more sophisticated about this poppy. It was growing by its stately self in Claire's tunnel today, not forcing its attentions on anybody, just doing its own thing majestically.
