The cows are back
The Lamberts Castle herd of cattle are back at Lamberts Castle for their summer season. At the moment they appear to be content in their own field but the gate into the public area is open so they will soon be exploring.
In the past they have been very docile, even when they have their calves and when the bull turned out with them, so lets hope that continues. I must admit I do enjoy taking their pictures.
The extra photos was the view from Landon Hill looking out to sea. The buildings on the right are Lyme Regis and the farm building in the foreground is the National Trust workshop and local offices.
