OVER THE MOUNTAINS

Drove over the Cascade mountains to central Oregon.  As luck would have it, it snowed up there all day yesterday.  This provided glorious white beauty on a warm sunny day.  Snow caps everywhere.  Stopped and hiked the Metolius river.  When the kids were little this was our main camping, fly fishing spot.  The river literally comes right out of the ground, cold and crystal clear.  Then on to Sisters Oregon, named for the Three Sisters Mountains in their back yard.  Spend the night in a house with total strangers.  Thanks to Airb@b.  Very nice people.
