Sunday afternoon drive

We were glad to see the sun shining again yesterday. Sunny blue skies for five days in a row seemed like a minor miracle, and it made for a beautiful ride through the countryside to meet some long time friends for Sunday lunch. The area where we were meeting is known for its covered bridges. There is even a covered bridge tour in the fall, so this was a good opportunity for us to photograph one of the iconic bridges located only five minutes from the restaurant where we were meeting our friends. The extra photo for today shows another view of the bridge.  We enjoyed the drive, the old bridge, and a great visit with our friends.
