Snow/hail stops play...

A busy day. First thing I headed out for my run before everything else took over. I was chuffed to do a 10k PB on the v hilly Penicuik 10k route. I was back by 9.30 when I took over the making of melting moments with C and made some cinnamon rolls. A headed off to a orienteering event in the pentlands. After a v quick shower took cakes out of oven and headed over to the cricket club with said cakes & biscuits for their open day. The boys had a wee play and then this happened ...the heavens opened with hail/snow. They bravely played on for a while but then headed in for cake. Half hour later all was green again and they were out playing again. The boys then headed to the Astro with their friends and Dad. A got back in time to join the friends mum and I eating cake. In the eve I headed round to a friends for a drink and a great session on the singing app for the PlayStation - goodness knows what her neighbours thought hearing is belt out Waterloo at midnight....
