Silver Lining

We’re having unbelievably warm autumn weather, even though it’s been a bit overcast with the odd shower.
 
I took this (mystical) shot of the treetops and sky whilst standing at the start of the walking track that meanders through the Forrest.


The sun was just about to set when a threatening blanket of dark cloud started to loom overhead.


The birds were chattering away, so I didn’t think it was anything too serious and I was only two minutes from home if I had to make a dash for it (wouldn't want to get my new camera wet!)
 
I thought this suitable for this week’s Mono Monday….. this is our much-treasured environment.
