Tasty Treats?

I'd forgotten about the apples from our tree that I'd placed in the bottom drawer of my beer fridge months ago, until Cynthia told me today that they were past their eat-by date! The middle one in the bottom row doesn't look too bad -- like the proverbial curate's egg, perhaps?

I wonder what she was doing in my beer fridge -- perhaps I need to keep track of my inventory?
