New Aquarium
Monday, I ended up taking off work. Sugar didn't have school, and I didn't have anyone to watch her, so we had another day together. We spent the morning around the house doing a few chores we hadn't gotten to over the weekend. Sugar spent much of her time watching the fish in our new aquarium. She has wanted one for YEARS. Suddenly, this past weekend, The Hubby decided to set one up. We have plenty of empty aquariums around her from the many different reptiles we've had over the years. The aquarium gravel is from my parents aquarium nearly 40 years ago. CRAZY....somehow I ended up with it about 15 years ago. Glad to finally have a use for it. Anyhow.....The Hubby, of course, over did it and got us tooooo many goldfish....sigh. I'm sure some will die off in the next few days though, and we'll but some out in our water trough to keep the mosquitoes down. We got one Plecostomus as well. At some point, after we see how everyone is doing...we'll plan to put George into the tank. He'll be super happy, I'm sure.
In the afternoon, we headed into town for Sugar's school conference (she is doing well), and then Tap class. It was all good.
