At The Braille Trail. Leitz Telyt-V 280mm

I was so taken with the Braille Trail from yesterday, that I took my Editor back to visit today.  It was warmer and there was some wildlife out catching sun along the river bank.  I netted a couple of shots of a fairly large Night Heron and also a small snapping turtle sunning himself on a rock.  All were difficult shots because of the undergrowth along the bank and the harsh back light but at least I had a big lens with me to draw them in close.  I was particularly taken by the length of the turtle's back claws; not something one would want to encounter.
