Dusky Cranesbill

After a day spent tidying I popped out into t a sunny but still rather chilly garden to find something to blip.  I had a number of shots to choose from: a last chance at the Pasque Flowers (so late this year), Euphorbia plus ants(!), Rosemary plus a very quick moving bee, Ceanothus (why is it blooming so soon?) and  several other candidates, but in the end I preferred this understated but rather lovely hardy geranium.

In other news: this evening I received an unexpected email from someone best described as an estranged family member...not sure where this will lead me but I am hopeful that it will be a positive place .
