Hitchhiker

The robin from last night was still around getting closer and closer to us as we had our breakfast. Then took an interest in my bike and I took several shots of him on my rear rack, on my handlebars but I liked this one best.

Set off from Paimpont to Iffendic where we met a couple on a tandem. They were from Lichfield. He had done a lot of hillwalking in Scotland.

Cycled on to Bedee and went onto a canal path which made for nice easy cycling. Saw a Redstart. I had read a book called Bumbling about Brittany and in it it was said that there were Bluethroats everywhere in Brittany. I looked everywhere and didn't see any but today climbing up one of the hills I saw one lying dead by the side of the road. It looked a pretty bird but not the way I had wanted to see it. Camped at Combourg.
