Water vole

It was a beautiful day, quite cold and clouds around but the sun was out most of the time.  Went for a long walk this morning and to a friends this afternoon.  Took photos of little egret, chaffinch, robin and some good close up shots of bee and flowers but I was so pleased to see this water vole.  Its not a good shot, I cropped it and it was taken at a distance but I couldn't believe my luck at seeing it.  Had to wait a while and couldn't get a clear view.
