Bowood 2016 #8 (Sunday 17th April 2016)
It was a beautiful if rather cold afternoon at Bowood today and I took too many photos as usual. Today's Extras include some bluebells, a running brown hare, a cock pheasant and clouds reflecting in Bowood Lake. However, the most unusual aspect of the visit, and therefore the blip, was the behaviour of this cob swan who was repeatedly taking to flight to chase off this one Canada goose. The goose would settle a bit further away and all would seem calm and then the swan would be angered all over again. The pen swan was on the grass nearby so perhaps he was just showing off.
She didn't take any notice.
