Derelict Sunday: Grove Wood

Our morning stroll today took us through Grove Wood which is a lovely, overgrown and wild woodland running opposite the well maintained Snuff Mills. 

Grove Wood was award town green status back in 2012 after a long campaign by a local residents group. The privately owned land is now protected as a green space and public right of way. 

I found these old broken benches being reclaimed by nature and thought they would be perfect for Derelict Sunday.
