Wild in the country

By colin

My assistant took this one for me today.

I'm cheating a bit here, and ready to admit it.  I didn't take the shot - Lulu has taken a selfie.  Lulu has been my principle assistant photographer ever since we have used Blipfoto, so I'm quite happy to use her pic again today.
Somewhere on the border of Greece and Macedonia, having fun with a Syrian refugee.  How one can have such a smile in such troubled times is a testament to the human spirit, which is so willing to face adversity and meet it with humour and generosity.  I took Lulu to Kidderminster only yesterday morning, to fly to Greece, where she is with friends distributing necessities to refugees, somewhere near Idomenia, scene of this week's tear gas attacks.  She has grandpa Jim's big red spotted handkerchief in case of further tear gas attacks.  Blessings on you, Lulu, and all your mates.
